Dark chocolate is rich and slightly bitter, made with cocoa solids, sugar, and sometimes a bit of fat. It has a deep flavor that many people love. Milk chocolate is sweeter and creamier, as it contains milk powder, milk solids, and sugar along with cocoa solids and fat. It’s often the go-to choice for candies and desserts. White chocolate doesn’t contain cocoa solids but is made from cocoa butter, sugar, and milk solids. It has a smooth texture and a sweet, milky taste. Lastly, unsweetened chocolate is pure chocolate liquor, made from ground cocoa beans. It’s bitter and often used in baking, where sugar is added to recipes separately. I find it fascinating how these different types of chocolate can create such delightful treats!
