  1. White chocolate gets its color because it doesn’t contain cocoa solids, which are the dark part of regular chocolate. When I think about it, it’s like making a cake without adding cocoa powder. Regular chocolate has cocoa solids from cocoa beans, which give it the brown color. But in white chocolate, they use cocoa butter, which is the fatty part of cocoa beans. Cocoa butter is pale yellowish in color, and that’s why white chocolate is creamy white. So, no cocoa solids means no dark color. It’s pretty interesting how different parts of cocoa beans can create such diverse chocolates!
