Chronicled Wish… I bet everyone forgot about its existence, but fortunately, today we finally got some updates about it. In this video, let’s take a look at the info we’ve got. When will we see the next Chronicled Wish, and which characters will appear there.

The source of this info is Flying Flame, the same source that shared details about the playable Mavuika in 5.1. According to the source, we’ll be getting the Liyue Chronicled Wish in 5.3. The first post claimed it would be in 5.2, but it was quickly corrected. On top of that, it was reposted by many trusted sources, so I think it’s pretty reliable.

As you know, the Chronicled Wish in 4.5 was related to Mondstadt and had its main event in that region. But how is Liyue related to 5.3? It’s Lantern Rite, guys! It usually happens in x.4 versions, but this time it’ll be in 5.3. So, the Chronicled Wish will be related to Lantern Rite, which is an event that happens in Liyue.

So, who can we expect to see?
So, if it’s Liyue-themed, who will be there?
The suitable characters are Ganyu, Zhongli, Xiao, and Baizhu. All of them meet the requirements.
We have four limited characters for the Chronicled Wish, the other 2 will be Qiqi and Keqing.

To me the reason it doesn't make sense for Archons to be in the chronicled wish banner is that they rerun every region anyway, so it's not like Shen He where you have to hold your breath and pray to see them again, you know they're coming back, eventually. Even if Childe isn't from Liyue, it was his first introduction, so I wouldn't be surprised if he counted for the Liyue banner anyway. Wanderer isn't from Sumeru but it's still the region that's associated with him because that's the biggest part of his arc, and technically Thoma is from Mondstadt but he's associated with Inazuma, so Childe being related to the Liyue banner because of his role there and it being when he got his first banner makes sense.

  9. I don't think zhongli will be on the chronicled wish banner and that theyre going to run shenhe on there. I think they'll go against their rules, because they are basically just heavily avoiding running shenhe so it'd make sense for her to run. They always rerun the archons frequently and even if it's not a pattern, we know that they're going to rerun because theyre high revenue characters.
