Having seen the exclusive interactions with Natlan units so far, namely the nightsoul blessings/bursts along with the Natlan exclusive artifacts among other things encouraging the use of a “Mono Natlan” team, I wanted to discuss the pros and cons of going in the direction of region locking.

Two very important corrections that I messed up on (Ty to comments for bringing it up):
– Nightsoul burst can be triggered so long as a Natlan character is in the party. It doesn’t have to be triggered BY the Natlan character exclusively. The “Natlan Exclusive” part is the cooldown reduction from having more Natlan units. But other characters can still trigger Nightsoul Burst.
– Chain Breaker also gives the boost based on the number of different elements in your party.
I must’ve misremembered what they said on the livestream regarding nightsoul burst. That’s on me. As for the chain breaker I recall it being only Natlan characters in the beta description. I should’ve double checked to see if it updated. Apologies for the error!
Arlechino is from Fontain not from Sneznhaya
The game already has too few good generic purpose units and this just makes the problem even worse.
It's not the only reason but one of the biggest reasons why I uninstalled the game last week.
The game literally doesn't have enough good characters I like in half the elements to consistently play IT on the highest difficulty and now that? As if you could even make Natlan only teams in IT at all.
plz stop dunking on mono geo 🙁 its out dpsing my top 2% neuvillete and top 1000 arlecchino
I don’t think sheznya isn’t gonna have this problem as bad because the Natlan exclusive stuff makes sense in lore and is a great way for established and new players to play units they normally wouldn’t
