A cosplayer who dressed as Herrscher of the Void, a well-known and iconic antagonist from Honkai Impact 3rd, was recently not allowed to participate in a HoYoverse-sponsored cosplay contest. The reason given was that Honkai Impact 3rd was supposedly not recognized as a HoYoverse game. This decision appears to have been made by local representatives or convention admins at the event. Despite the contest being sponsored by HoYoverse, only cosplays from Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero were permitted.

That’s bullshit. A game made by Hoyoverse is a Hoyoverse Game. They should put up the rules or was it taken over maliciously by third parties.
All in all, Hoyoverse Devs and CEO’s should look into this mess.
Funny enough, they even have a launcher that can be used for all 4 games (hi3, hsr, zzz, gi) at the same time called "HoYoPlay" unlike before where they have their own independent launcher. I dunno, isn't that supposed to hint something? lol
So i guess the HoYo play launcher has a bug because i clearly see HI3rd in the launcher
if the contest already ended and she couldnt attend cuz of this stupid decision she should be compenstated the money and the time she spent on the cosplay in full amount for it
Bunch of hypocrites: where did they think the title Honkai in HSR came from? Or the expy with the name Bronya, Welt, and Raiden Mei inspired from. Heck even Welt in HSR is literally the same Welt from HI3
